It offers plenty of shade to protect visitors from the Texas heat, and the area is decorated with vibrant murals created by local artists. Barry Annino Bark Park is fully fenced, allowing dogs to roam freely off-leash. Key amenities include:

Dog drinking fountains.

Waste bag stations and trash containers.

Shade provided by its location beneath an overpass.

Dog agility equipment and open play areas.

Benches for owners.

The park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. However, since it sits under a bridge, traffic noise may occasionally be loud — which can be challenging for sound-sensitive dogs.

Other Popular Dog Parks

NorthBark Dog Park is another one of the largest and most popular dog parks in Dallas. Dogs also have their own dedicated water fountains.

This park is considered the largest in North Texas and is the perfect place for long, active outings with pets, giving them plenty of space to run, swim, and socialize.

Other dog-friendly areas worth visiting in Dallas include:

My Best Friend Dog Park at Klyde Warren Park — located downtown in Klyde Warren Park.
